Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Hosts 32nd Annual Rehabilitation Reunion

Windsor, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC), a member of Dartmouth Health, recently celebrated its 32nd annual Rehabilitation Reunion, which brings together former patients, their families and the caregivers who played critical roles in their recoveries. Held on September 17, the reunion honored individuals who have completed MAHHC rehabilitation programs and provided a meaningful opportunity for attendees to reconnect and share their experiences.

The gathering is a tradition that reflects MAHHC’s commitment to supporting patients beyond their treatment, offering a space to celebrate personal progress made and the relationships built during rehabilitation. “This reunion is a testament to the resilience of our patients and the dedication of our staff,” said Belinda Needham-Shropshire, OT, MSPT, MBA, senior director of rehabilitation and ancillary services at MAHHC. “It’s a special moment for everyone involved to see how far our patients have come and to celebrate their achievements.”

In addition to celebrating personal milestones, the reunion helps raise awareness of the MAHHC’s Rehabilitation Center, which offers both inpatient and outpatient programs. These rehabilitation and physical medicine programs are the top choice for patients requiring ongoing or intensive services, treating a wide range of conditions including stroke, cardiopulmonary disease and recovery from significant neurological or orthopaedic illnesses or injuries.

As a CARF-accredited facility, MAHHC’s Rehabilitation Center adheres to the highest standards in care, ensuring comprehensive and effective treatment for patients in need of rehabilitation services.
