Our Geriatric Emergency Medicine Department
The Geriatric Emergency Medicine Department at Mt. Ascutney has earned Level 2 accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians. To learn more about geriatric care at Dartmouth Health, visit the Geriatric Center of Excellence website.
Our Emergency Department staff consists of physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, and emergency medical technicians.
We work closely with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and other medical facilities to ensure our emergency patients have immediate transportation to other hospitals if needed.
The Emergency Department offers First Aid Courses to the community, as well as Medical Technician Training programs at the basic and intermediate level.
