Windsor, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC), a Dartmouth Health member, has named Ashley Cole, RN, a clinic supervisor at Ottauquechee Health Center, MAHHC’s Employee of the Month for October 2024. MAHHC recognizes employees who consistently exceed expectations, with reliability and daily dedication to their work.

In her role, Cole supervises administrative and clinical functions for primary care and specialty practices at the Ottauquechee Health Center. She oversees the day-to-day flow and coordination of several clinic functions, including that of nurse coverage, reception and registration to meet the needs of patients and providers. She joined MAHHC in December 2021, and medical assistant Emily Comstock nominated her for this recognition.

“Ashley was nominated for her hospitality with a new hire starting from the DH WRI Medical Assistant Program. This newest team member has attributed a large part of their comfort and happiness with the new role to Ashley,” Comstock said. “She answers every question with patience and compassion, always making time to give demonstrations and hands on experience. She gives great feedback and has drastically boosted their self-confidence with her compliments and reassurance.”

“Ashley has an unflappable attitude and calm disposition. Her laughter with patients can be heard throughout the hall and never fails to make everyone smile,” Comstock continued. “The Primary Care Clinic has experienced several complex walk-ins this month, and Ashley was quick to take charge and keep the situation safe for our staff and patients. We are thrilled to have her as our new team lead, and we can’t wait to see her continue to shine in her role.”
