Windsor, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC), a Dartmouth Health member, has named Cassie Carroll, a patient access representative, MAHHC’s Employee of the Month for November 2024. MAHHC recognizes employees who consistently exceed expectations, with reliability and daily dedication to their work.
In her role, Carroll helps greet patients and completes all registration tasks in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. Tasks include but are not limited to payment reconciliation and assistance, follow-up visit scheduling, and insurance collection and verification. She joined MAHHC in March 2023, and colleague Lillian Merriam nominated her for this recognition.
“Cassie is such a wonderful member of ‘the [registration] Bubble.’ You can always count on Cassie to be on top of her game, whether that is checking in patients, navigating through insurances, or keeping the mood light and alive, even through the busiest days,” Merriam said.
“Cassie is always pleasant and greets everyone with a smile whether that is her own team as they start their day or patients coming to her window. She is always thorough when explaining reasons to patients and is always sensitive to their concerns. Cassie not only keeps days bright through her actively bubbly mood, she also decorates the Bubble with beautiful crocheted ‘masterpieces,’ which continue to be a big hit. We all in the Bubble feel that we are so lucky to have such a personable, thoughtful, thorough and kind woman as a member of our team.”
