Windsor, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC), a Dartmouth Health member, has named Gloria LaClair, a cook, MAHHC’s Employee of the Month for December 2024. MAHHC recognizes employees who consistently exceed expectations, with reliability and daily dedication to their work.

In her role, LaClair organizes and prepares food for breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and staff. She also assists in the supervision of kitchen staff in the absence of other on-duty employees. She joined MAHHC in October 2000, and colleague Lena Bohacova nominated her for this recognition.

“Gloria exceeds the expectations of her job. She had perfect attendance and has gone [the] extra mile to ensure all patients and guests are given the service they expect,” Bohacova said. “She is very organized and keeps everything clean and neat. If you are looking for anything in the kitchen walk-in or the storage room, ask Gloria. She knows!”
