Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Names Mary Boardman as March Employee of the Month

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) recognized Mary Boardman as March Employee of the Month.

Windsor, VT – Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC), a Dartmouth Health member, has named Mary Boardman, an administrative assistant, MAHHC’s Employee of the Month for March 2025. MAHHC recognizes employees who consistently exceed expectations, with reliability and daily dedication to their work.

In her role, Boardman provides administrative support to senior leaders, collects and prepares information for senior leaders, staff members, and outside individuals, and performs general office duties. She likewise plays an essential role in supporting various programs and initiatives of MAHHC, providing critical logistical support and guidance for her colleagues. Boardman joined MAHHC in January 2018.

Several of Boardman’s colleagues nominated her for this recognition. Their joint nominator stated, “Over the past few months, Mary has demonstrated unparalleled dedication, attention to detail, and professionalism in every aspect of her role. Mary consistently goes above and beyond to ensure smooth officer operations. She has handled complex scheduling tasks, coordinated meetings, and remained organized with remarkable efficiency. Her ability to anticipate the needs of the organization and provide timely support has been invaluable.

Boardman’s colleagues added, “In addition to her organizational skills, Mary maintains a positive attitude and always approaches tasks with a can-do spirit. Her excellent communication skills foster a supporting and welcoming environment. It’s not just her work ethic that sets her apart; it’s also her kindness and willingness to help others whenever needed.”

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has awarded MAHHC with Level 3 status, the highest level of medical home designation.
