Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has announced that Nicholas Doiron, a Dietary Aide with the Nutrition Services staff at the Hospital, has been chosen as Employee of the Month for July, 2021. The monthly award recognizes employees who have demonstrated sustained service excellence in their respective departments and have displayed compassion, a caring approach, and continuous hard work within their community.
As a Dietary Aide with Nutrition Services, Doiron performs an array of tasks including meal and salad bar preparation, serving food during tray line, cash register operation, opening and closing of the kitchen, and shift supervision when needed. Doiron also serves as a screener in the Emergency Department.
According to his supervisor John Frisbee, “Nicholas has a great attitude, he smiles, laughs, and is engaging and kind. Several people say Nick is a wonderful coworker and they enjoy working with him. Nick is always willing to help out where needed, he is flexible, and goes above and beyond. He is wonderful at making omelets, among many other things! Thank you, Nick, for all you do!”
Doiron resides in Windsor, Vermont. He has been a member of the MAHHC staff since July 25, 2016.
