Volunteering

We are actively seeking volunteers for transportation and hospital positions.

Who can volunteer?

Our volunteers, people of all ages and with a diversity of backgrounds, work throughout the hospital assisting in many ways.

Benefits of volunteering

Research has shown that volunteering can:

  • Decrease the risk of depression
  • Give a sense of purpose and teach valuable skills
  • Help people stay physically and mentally active
  • Reduce stress levels
  • Help individuals meet others and develop new relationships

We are proud of our volunteers! They generously share their time, kindness, and skills with our patients, staff, and community members. Their efforts support the quality service and comforting experience we seek to always provide here at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center.
