VeggieVanGo™ is a program of the Vermont Food Bank (VFB) to provide fresh produce, perishable products and shelf stable food to Vermonters facing hunger.
The aim of the program is to provide produce at no cost to people who cannot afford to buy enough fruit and vegetables to sustain a healthy lifestyle.
Several Vermont hospitals including Mt. Ascutney Hospital work in partnership with the VFB to promote better health for Vermont families. There are also numerous other resources for free and low-cost meals.
